Tranquility, Nature and History – the Laubertal

Lauberhof is situated in the upper Moosalbtal valley, approx. 4 km south of Trippstadt and near Johanniskreuz – in the heart of the Palatinate Forest. Its history dates back to 1174, when the farm was first documented as the estate 'Loyben' and donated to the Cistercian monastery of Eußerthal in the presence of Emperor Frederick Barbarossa. This makes Lauberhof more than 110 years older than the municipality of Trippstadt itself.

The Moosalbe stream – first mentioned in 1180 as 'Mosalbe' – flows directly past the farm. The historic Lauberwoog, a fish pond from the 13th century, once shaped the valley; today, natural meadows, the stream and the 905-hectare Lauberwald forest create a unique backdrop in the heart of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Palatinate Forest–Northern Vosges.

Nature & Activity

Hiking trails right at the doorstep, over 900 km of MTB trails and the Dahner Felsenland for climbing – the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Palatinate Forest offers outdoor experiences for every taste.

Action & Leisure

Zip-line adventures, high ropes courses, the Kaiserslautern Garden Show and leisure pools – fun and variety for the whole family in the surrounding area.

Shopping & Indulgence

The German Wine Route with picturesque wine villages, the Zweibrücken Fashion Outlet and the Hauenstein Shoe Mile – enjoyment and shopping experiences just a short drive away.
